Britain scores low in family friendliness

The Family and Parenting Institute's recent report has given Britain low scores in "family friendliness". The Family Matters Institute, DadTalk.co.uk, and BeGrand.net find it unsurprising that Britain scores low in its treatment of families. They see many of their users comment on the upwardly spiralling cost of living, and how their pound has become less and less adequate to cover their family’s costs. Stourfield Junior School pupils enhance their Outdoor Classroom with Sphere of Shadows sculpture

A stunning 'Sphere of Shadows' sculpture, featuring 120 individual schoolchildren's silhouettes cut from recycled plastic, has been unveiled last month at Stourfield Junior School in Bournemouth. The piece, created by artist and graphic designer Nick Sayers, was commissioned by the school in collaboration with Wave Arts Education Agency and Bournemouth Council. Licensing business Character World is predicting Disney's third Toy Story will be its biggest license of 2010.
