Exclusive show special offers and deals at Childcare Expo
(06/09/2010)
The childcare and early years sector is a growing market, despite the global recession. 77% of mums were actively looking for a new job after having children. The results were compiled from a survey of 1,677 women in July, 2009. The figures show that during the recession, childcare is still a market that is currently needed, rising and expanding.
Childcare Expo 2010, held on September 28th-29th at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, is your opportunity to find exactly what you are looking for, all under one roof.
Childcare Expo is striving to be the number one National Exhibition and Networking Event for the early years, childcare and nursery sector. With childcare demands still growing, show organiser Emma Barrett of Broadway Events says: “Childcare Expo brings together leading childcare professionals and exhibitors together at the Ricoh Arena to help keep visitors in the know with current industry trends.”
The event is hosting twelve seminars over the two day duration, a live demo stage and a brand new feature area, A Place to Play.
The exhibitors are all national suppliers of leading brands and will be showcasing thousands of products, as well as brand new innovations.
Childcare Expo will also be showcasing a brand new feature area. The theme of the feature is ‘Under The Sea’ and it will give the ultimate sensory experience. Visitors will be able to touch, see, smell and hear everything associated with life under the sea. Training and information will be offered on how you can recreate these themed rooms back in your practice. Whether children want to go to space, swing through the jungle or swim under the sea, A Place to Play offers different ideas that visitors can apply to their business.
As a new survey shows that parents don’t feel their children have enough playtime, Playdale Playgrounds will be attending the first ever Childcare Expo exhibition to promote the benefits of engaging young children in outdoor play. With more than 30 years’ experience in designing and manufacturing playgrounds, Playdale have an extensive product range to endorse effective development of physical, social and creative skills.
Barry Leahey, Sales and Marketing Director at Playdale, said: “It’s important that childcare professionals don’t forget the value of play in child development, especially in an early years setting where children are constantly learning new skills. We are looking forward to attending this brand new exhibition; dedicated to the needs of the early years, childcare and nursery sectors, and talking to the people who work with the children we design for.”
