Water Buddies help to teach swimming to toddlers
(03/02/2010)
Water Buddies help to teach swimming to toddlers by allowing them full use of their arms whilst at the same time providing a correct floatation position for swimming.
The Water Buddies float suits and jackets are fundamental for safety in and around water. They have been developed to incorporate the unique Splash About Buoyancy System, which makes them the perfect product to take on holiday whether it be abroad or in the UK.
Each Water Buddy comes with 16 removable floats, made from soft, comfortable non-puncture foam that allows it to be adjusted to work with each child’s individual buoyancy. The floats can be gradually reduced (by simply removing them from the suit) to stop the wearer becoming dependent on them. All Water Buddies are made from special SPF 50+ fabric which blocks 98% of the suns rays, so parents can be safe in the knowledge that their child is protected from the sun.
There are five products in the Water Buddies range, all of which are available for toddlers aged 1 - 6 years old and in a variety of colours and patterns. The Water Buddies Floatsuit (£19.99-£23.50); the Short John Float Suit (£24.99) similar to the Floatsuit but with legs that come to just above the knee; Sun Protection Floatsuit (£26.99) with extra cover around the neck, back & chest, legs that come to just above the knee and sleeves to just above the elbow; and the Designer Floatsuit for girls (£29.99) that comes in girlie colours and prints and is adorned with bows on the shoulders and a frilly skirt.
There are also Float Jackets for children up to the age of 14, and even adults, that come in a selection of colours and fabric designs and start at £23.99.
All products are fully tested for quality and safety, and by qualified swim teachers and all are CE certified. All products come with instructions and advice on helping children gain confidence in water and to learn how to swim.
