Washable baby wipes kit contains everything that cloth nappy users need to make using washable wipes hassle free
(15/02/2010)
Cheeky Baby Wipes and Monkey Foot Wet Bags have launched a co-branded washable baby wipes kit, specifically for cloth nappy users.
The kit contains everything that cloth nappy users need to make using washable wipes hassle free. No extra wash loads or drying are required and the wipes can be used out and about in the fantastic floral Monkey Foot Wet Bag – great for style conscious Mums.
The Cheeky Monkey Baby Wipes kit contains 25 terry towelling wipes, a fresh wipes soaking box, fresh wipes soaking oil and a small Cheeky Monkey Wet bag for using out and about. The kit doesn’t produce extra mounds of washing – you just place them in your nappy bin and wash with your nappies – and there’s no need to dry them either. If you’re already doing your bit by recycling your newspapers, glass and tins – then using the Cheeky Monkey Wipes kit is just as easy.
Less landfill and no extra loads of washing or drying mean that the Cheeky Monkey Baby Wipes kit is the green baby wipes option. And because Cheeky Baby Wipes use just water and safe essential oils they’re kind to your baby too, unlike disposable wipes which can often contain some or all of the following: Benzoic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Ceteareth 12, Citric Acid, Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, Propylene Glycol and Tartaric Acid. The Monkey Foot wet bags are lined with Procare lining which is food safe and does not contain DEHP, Phlalates or BPA plasticizers and is used in hospitals / health care settings.
Let’s face it, baby wipes are actually great for cleaning up sticky worktops, grubby fingers and even giving shoes a quick polish. No wonder many families spend around £500 per child over two years on them (two packs of branded wipes at £2.49 per week for 2 years is £517). In comparison, the Cheeky Monkey Baby Wipes kit costs £26.95 – that’s a massive saving of almost £500.
‘We realised that there was a gap in the market for a wipes kit which combines the hassle-free use of Cheeky Wipes, with the gorgeous designs of the Monkey Foot Wet Bags’ says Helen Rankin, owner of Cheeky Wipes. Vicki Finn, distributor for Monkey Foot Wet Bags continued ‘Cloth nappy users usually have a nappy bin and a wet nappy bag already, so this mini-kit is just perfect for them’.
