GCREST brings TinierMe to English-speaking gamers around the world
(01/01/2010)
GCREST has launched the English language TinierMe Open Beta for gamers in Europe and the Americas. Gamers can now step in this engaging virtual world coming straight from Japan.
“Our Open Beta will bring TinierMe to English-speaking gamers around the world,” said Masaru Ohnogi, VP of Global Operations at GCREST. “We designed the game to appeal to both Eastern and Western gamers, and our goal is to welcome new gamers internationally, listen to their feedback, and continue building our already large and growing gamer base.”
TinierMe transports players to a web-based Manga and Anime style virtual world where they can pick their own avatar, customize it using a large variety of options, and purchase virtual items to enhance game play.
They will experience multiple in-game challenges, meet other people and chat live, enjoy game events, and get rewarded with virtual coins or items. TinierMe appeals to everyone ages 13 and older.
Players move into a lovely village named “SELFY Town” as the customized dynamic flash avatar they choose. Players can interact with friends by using more than 20 different moods, go fishing, decorate their rooms, and play mini-games.
Gamers can immediately use a wide variety of features during the Beta testing period including:
- Explore 20 areas in SELFY Town (the river gate, the fountain, the beach, etc.)
- Play mini-games such as: Fishing Games in rivers, pond and sea within SELFY town, Pet Game, etc
- Visit shops and purchase attractive clothes such as Samurai Ninja, Gothic Lolita, Rock (visual kei) and Casual.
- Use social features (diary, chat, email, moods)
As the Beta evolves, new furniture, clothing, challenges, and pets will be added.
