Sesame Street’s Elmo got a brand new look in Being Green, a fun-filled and
action-packed programme that teaches some important lessons along the way through song
and live-action.

In Being Green, Elmo and fairy-in-training Abby Cadabby pitch in to help Mr Earth (played by Clueless and Friends actor Paul Rudd in a giant Earth costume!) to host Sesame Street’s first Earth-a-thon. Who better than Mr Earth to teach his young helpers about how easy it is to be green by giving practical advice and examples of what other children around the world from Turkey to South Africa are doing from recycling, re-using and conserving water and energy all in a bid to look after the planet we live on.

Abby Cadabby’s enthusiasm to help Elmo ‘be green’ goes a little too far when she accidentally turns his fur green and cannot remember how to turn him back red again. As well as being full of the fun and laughter that children love Elmo for, Being Green is the ideal way to introduce young children to importance of the very topical issue of caring for the environment. The DVD packaging for this release is made from recycled materials and the DVD case from 50% recycled plastic.

Being Green, released by Abbey Home Media, provides hours of entertainment at just £9.99 and is available at all good stockists.
