University of Kent aims to change parenting culture

The idea for the 'Changing Parenting Culture' seminar series emerged from discussions at a conference held at the University of Kent in 2007. Titled 'Monitoring Parents: Childrearing in the Age of Intensive Parenting', this conference brought together scholars and researchers from a wide range of disciplines and generated widespread energetic debate.
